The main purpose of Amasya University Journal of Social Sciences (ASOBID) is to publish qualified and original studies in accordance with scientific norms and publication ethics in the field of social sciences and to convey them to the relevant parties. ASOBID, which started its publication life with the principle of being a scientific and refereed journal published at regular intervals, aims to be a respected, preferred and followed journal with international reputation in the field of social sciences.
Amasya University Journal of Social Sciences (ASOBID) includes scientific articles in the fields of Turkish Language and Literature, History, Art History, Philosophy, Sociology, Archaeology and Geography.
Research articles and book review studies are accepted for publication in our journal.
In order to upload your article to our journal, the Author button must be marked in the My Account/Edit My Profile option. In order to initiate the referee process, your article must be organized according to the writing rules.
The name, abstract, and keywords of the submitted article must be entered separately in English and Turkish in the article metadata.
Articles must be sent in accordance with the ASOBID writing and publishing principles specified below. Articles that are not entered into the system in this format will not be evaluated.

2. Details such as page numbers, headers and footers should not be included in the texts.
3. Only the first letters of each word of the titles in the article should be written in capital letters and no other formatting should be used.
4. In terms of spelling and punctuation, except for special cases required by the article or subject, the Turkish Language Association's Writing Guide should be taken as basis.
5. Tables should be numbered within the article, explanations should be written in 9-point font and longitudinal lines should not be used.
ASOBİD TURKISH SOURCE CITATION GUIDE
APA 6th ed. system has been adopted for citing sources in articles sent to ASOBİD Journal. For this reason, articles to be sent to our journal must comply with the following citing system. The following points should be taken into consideration in citing sources.

Article Submission
Amasya University Journal of Social Sciences conducts a double-blind peer review process for candidate articles. All candidate articles submitted to our journal must be original and must not have been published in any journal before. In addition, the candidate article must not be under evaluation in another journal and the candidate article sent to our journal must not be sent to another journal after the evaluation process has started until the evaluation process is completed. In the event of such applications, the articles of the author(s) will not be evaluated in any way.
Authors must meticulously comply with the article submission processes when submitting articles to our journal. In this context, the following files must be uploaded during the article submission process.
1- Title page
2- Similarity ratio statement and Similarity ratio file.
3- Ethics committee document (This document is mandatory for studies requiring ethics committee permission.)
4- Copyright transfer agreement
5- Full text file (The full text file must be filled in accordance with the journal template and no information about the article authors should be included in the main text file.)
When submitting an article to our journal, the above documents must be attached and the article must be submitted. The authors are responsible for this. If the requested documents are not uploaded, the article is returned to the author.
The candidate articles sent to the journal are directed to the relevant editors for the evaluation process after the journal secretariat checks the compliance of the above-mentioned files with the journal rules during the pre-check phase. The candidate articles determined to be suitable for the purpose and scope of the journal are directed to the field editors. The field editors assign two expert referees in accordance with the blind referee system by taking into account the nature of the study. The evaluation process is shown in the graphic below.
Amasya University Journal of Social Sciences (ASOBİD) strives to continue its publication process by aiming for the development and distribution of research and knowledge in an impartial, respectful and scientific manner. In this context, authors, referees, publishers and editors involved in the process are expected to comply with ethical principles. Within the scope of ASOBID publication ethics, all stakeholders are required to comply with the ethical principles stated below.
The ethical duties and responsibilities listed below have been prepared by taking into account the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as open access (See COPE Directive in Turkish).
Amasya University Journal of Social Sciences (ASOBID) undertakes to comply with the Higher Education Institutions Ethical Behavior Principles (2014) and the ÜAK Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive.
The publication of an article in a refereed journal is a necessary foundation stone in the development of a harmonious and respected information network. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and shape scientific methods. Therefore, it is important for all parties involved in the publication, the author, journal editor, referee and publishing institutions to agree on the standards of expected ethical behavior:
1. Authorship
- The reference list must be complete.
- Plagiarism and fake data should not be included.
- The same research should not be attempted to be published in more than one journal, and scientific research and publication ethics should be followed.
- Actions that are against scientific research and publication ethics are as follows:
a. Plagiarism: Presenting the ideas, methods, data, applications, writings, figures or works of others as one's own work, partially or completely, without citing their owners in accordance with scientific rules,
b. Forgery: Producing data not based on research, editing or changing the presented or published work based on false data, reporting or publishing these, presenting a research that has not been conducted as if it has been conducted,
c. Distortion: Falsifying research records and obtained data, presenting methods, devices and materials that were not used in the research as if they were used, not evaluating data that is not compatible with the research hypothesis, tampering with data and/or results to fit the relevant theory or assumptions, falsifying or shaping research results in line with the interests of persons and organizations receiving support,
ç. Re-publication: Presenting multiple works containing the same results of a research as separate works in associate professorship exam evaluations and academic promotions,
d. Slicing: Presenting the results of a research as separate works in associate professorship exam evaluations and academic promotions by dividing them into parts in an inappropriate manner that disrupts the integrity of the research and by publishing multiple publications without citing each other,
e. Unfair authorship: Including people who have no active contribution among the authors, not including people who have active contribution among the authors, changing the author order in an unjustified and inappropriate manner, omitting the names of those who have active contribution during publication.
No fee is charged to the author or institution under any name.
ASOBID does not charge any fees for any process such as article submission/process management, publication.
